ANZAC PROJECT

Our Aim

The aim of our project was to educate ourselves about the four conflicts that we chose (World War One, World War Two, Vietnam, and Korea). While creating a presentation to educate our local community with varying projects that are aimed towards various audiences.

In our project we achieved:

  • Storybook: Love In War, A fictitious children's book focusing on life at war and hardships experienced.

  • Blueprint: To represent our ideas for the ANZAC Commemorative garden.

  • ANZAC Commemorative Garden (to be later initiated after the submission of the project), to educate our school on what life was like in war, and to get a more in-depth idea on the lives of the individuals who fought for Australia. This is also a way of educating simplistic representations of the wars to younger students.

  • World Map following the journeys of all our respective personality case studies of those who served in our investigated theatres of conflict; Korea, Vietnam, WWI and WWII. The world map is useful in tracing the footsteps of the four significant individuals for our theatres of conflict. We are able to directly follow the journey they made from Australia to the conflict(s) they served in.

  • A compilation of our planning and weekly updates. These are all our weekly planning videos to summarise all of our ideas and progress updates

  • Interviews with veterans from our chosen theatres of conflict, to further back up evidence and provide insight on their personal experiences and life in war.
